All is green

All GreensNext day early in the morning when I came out, I saw this beautiful green landscape in front of our cottage. All is filled with viridian green and still the fog is so thick that it looks like clouds all around, I sat there for half an hour and did some pencil sketches. My family was in hurry in `getting ready for the breakfast and they were making couple of plans for site seeing.

Imagine the world, which is full of green will be free of pollution.

After I finished this painting in my studio, one of my friends said it looks like water colour painting rather than oil, wow I was delighted with that comment.

Bright woods

Bright woodsSmall walk into the Scarlet woods, dried leaves and whistling wind……, ok fine …,I am not so good at poetic language but feels like that. After we finished walk in the woods we reached a place, where people call it as “sun set point” at 5:00 pm. The ambiance was filled with evening warm colours, Vendors of junk food shouting and trying to attract the buyers with mimic voices. We waited for one hour fifteen minutes to see the sunset.

We reached cottage at 8:30 pm after finishing our dinner, it was unbearable cold outdoor. We packed ourselves with body warmers and we could see hardly one or two campfires outside.

Need rest

Need rest

Photograph of my son sitting under the tree tempted me to paint it. Second day of the visit to Kodaikanal, we had a nice walk in to the woods. He was running, climbing and jumping from the trees like a monkey, after some time he got settled under the tree. Dazzling sun light spots on the ground and on his shirt created interesting colour tones. Whole painting filled with warm colours and vermillion red on the background adds little detail to the work. It’s always fun to be with nature.
