Portrait of photographer

sajjad

This is a portrait of one of my friends,  Sajjad Husain, and he is a professional photographer. I like his shiny head with goggles, highlights on the head and goggles look same though the texture is different. Couple of day’s back I was studying the paintings of Lucian Freud they are so amazingly done. His way of depicting the Nudes and portraits are not just skilful, but they are filled with emotion and a kind of deep penetration into feelings of model.

Un-identical twins

DSC_2320

This is a portrait of twins, sons of my brother. They are non-identical; Painted in oil with layer by layer technique.it took couple of months to finish this. I felt little difficulty when I am doing the eyes with faded sun glasses.

The dazzling sun on the portraits captured well. I like it.

watching

This is another image photo that I captured. I used warm colours like orange yellow and red. Simple pattern on the dress looks attractive. This is an unusual posture; she is watching t.v. Pose of body speaks a lot.

Raghu..

Raghu

Portrait making with live model and composed with the dull light. It took 1 hour 25 min to finish this work.

I did with earthy colours like burnt sienna, yellow ochre and little bit of white high lights.

The blending of colours creates the volume and 3d effect.

Portrait-4…one second wait wait…..one, one…sec….click. These words came out when I saw this boy turning back, All of sudden I took this photo. His face expression was intense and high .dazzling sun light falling on his face created a dramatic effect and his dark skin was looking like orange, green and yellowish.

Portrait-3

Portrait-3…side view. Attempted to capture the mood of twilight Colors. Colors became richer and brush strokes more pronounced. With these changes, the end result is a richly varied handling of paint, deeply layered and often apparently haphazard highlight in the eyes helped out to depict the mood.
