I got a chance to paint portrait of Mr Ken Spill Man who is Australian writer based in Perth, during his recent his visit to Oakridge International School Newton campus. The library department gifted this painting to him and now it’s in his collection. This is my last post in this month.

I couldn’t post this painting which was painted last week it self.it was so hot outside when I took the pic for this composition. I can see the change of colour green was turning into red. Even though it is rainy season it’s too hot in Hyderabad.

He started with yellow belt getting ready to fight. I painted this one yesterday. I tried to give bright yellow stroke on the belt to make it prominent. Folds of this taekwondo dress create interesting tonal variations of grey.

While I am going through the photo albums found this pic, when i zoomed the pic on the right side corner I noticed them, thought of painting the composition. Hope they won’t identify. It seems some serious conversation going on and they look so involved that they just forgot where they are. Due to the urbanisation, people are leading mechanical life no body is having time to spend peaceful life. In fact they feel its waste of time and intelligent way of saying it is time management.

This is a portrait of one of my friends, Sajjad Husain, and he is a professional photographer. I like his shiny head with goggles, highlights on the head and goggles look same though the texture is different. Couple of day’s back I was studying the paintings of Lucian Freud they are so amazingly done. His way of depicting the Nudes and portraits are not just skilful, but they are filled with emotion and a kind of deep penetration into feelings of model.

Look at the rock on top, it feels like somebody kept it carefully. Nature is amazing and and it’s so creative.
There are so many societies in and around Hyderabad who are actually conducting workshops and awareness camps to protect these rock hills.

Hyderabad is blessed with rock landscapes. You can notice rock landscapes around the city as they are 2500 million old as per the geological survey. They speak in silence and evoke the inner emotions. They became a well composed subject for me to paint. Bushes that grow near the rocks make the combination of burnt sienna, scarlet and sap green colours along with the bare blue sky. Various shapes and forms of these hard and rough textured rocks are gently touching the layers of my heart.
Due to the urbanization of city these rock hills slowly diminishing into the past.
This particular painting named “stacked” is the first one on this subject, and I would like to continue for few more compositions further.
